Lazy Day

Captain's Log - May 8 -  I've been having some challenges with changes to the Blog format.  I hate that once I've mastered something they make changes that I have no control over!  So please pardon captions that are not the same or photos not flush to the paragraphs beside them - well that I attempt to put beside them!

It's another beautiful day out and I visited our neighbors for a while, Judy and Robert, then Tom and Fran stopped by in the golf cart and Fran took the dogs for a walk while I visited with Tom for a spell.  He gave us a mesh cover for our propane outlet to keep mud daubers from getting in it and I found 2 longer screws and put the cover on.

Lunchtime came around and 2 couples went to the to a couple of markets and brought us a BIG tomato!!

We went to dinner at the 19/98 Grill for dinner.  They told us it was going to be swamped due to Mother's Day diners and to arrive by 4:30.  I've never eaten at "old people" time!  There was only one other table of people when we arrived and I think just 2-3 when we left!  Food was OK, but nothing to write home about!

We ended our weekend with our our friends sitting out and just talking about everything under the sun.  As the sun went down so did the temperature so we headed in and will say our good-byes in the morning.  Two couples will stay until the 12th as they are planning their summer trip together.

So the real adventure officially starts tomorrow but since it's just a driving day I hope there is nothing too exciting happening!
