Great day in Indiana!

Captains Log May 18 – Tonight we are in Howe, IN.  We left Ohio at 9:30 and arrive at Twin

45 - 48 Ft and 13' 6"

Acres about 11:30, which is about what we expected and planned.  As is to be expected, nothing goes according to plan.  First they assigned us a site across the road from the main campground.  While we were unhooking the office person came out and said now that she saw our RV it was too tall for that site so she went back in and changed us to a back in site that was good for the height of our RV.  Once we figured out to angle in, the site was plenty big but then Bill could not see any sewer hook up.  He had me come look too and there wasn’t one.  So he drove the truck back to the office and came back and said we’re in the same area a couple of rows back.  This was a pull thru with a full hook up and for 3 nights increased  our bill $50.  I couldn’t  figure  why and Bill said it was be- cause our first reservation  was a  PPA discount of half price but they don’t discount full hook-ups.  The lady did give us a 10% discount so I guess it was better than nothing.  When I called the reservation in months ago the guy  didn’t say it was  just water and electric to use myPPA!  Poop!

The couple beside us is from Bushnell!  They are now full timers, late 30’s and they work from their RV.  They must have a WIFI connection as there is none at the campground!

Toy hauler same dimensions

We parked, had lunch, showered and head to Bristol, IN to go on an LUXE RV tour we had scheduled months ago.  It was just us and the lady, Julia, who was awesome!  The workers were about done for the day.  They basically custom their 5th wheels.  They are HUGE!  You can pick from 5 interior woods, a rainbow of exterior paints, carpet options, counters, etc.  Most of their RV’s are custom made.  Extremely well made and excellent quality and you can even order your own backsplash and other things if you don’t like what they have.  They will customize anything they can for you.  If we were going to get a 5th wheel, this is definitely who we’d get it from.  The catch is it takes about 6 months from the order date.  They are a small company with no “”assembly” line like we’ve seen in other company tours.

We both had prescriptions sent to a local Wal-Mart so we headed there.  Mine was done but there was a glitch with Bill’s.  I picked up a few items on our list as well.

The RV was right where we left it!  Molly probably didn’t realize we had been gone!  My dinner plan was to eat up leftovers so Bill finished off a small piece of chicken and a hamburger, the mashed potatoes and veggies.  I had the leftover shrimp tempura and I think I had the better deal!  With no WIFI I will wait until tomorrow and see if I get a good enough HOTSPOT off of Bill’s phone to post.

There’s no antenna stations and no Dish under the trees.  Oh well!  We have plenty of books and I have crafts!
