Trip to town and then to work!

June 3 – After breakfast I went into Waynesboro for a bit of shopping and phone calls.  When I need to make an important call I try to make sure I’m in a good service area since I sometimes get put on hold for a while.  I am trying to resolve 2 ambulance bills on my dad and not getting a lot of co-operation.

I stopped at Michaels and Aldi’s in one plaza and then did a return of a nasty jicama at Martin’s, then went to Wal-mart.  I got Bill one of those mechanic creeper stools that I thought would be easier in the RV and would keep him off his feet.  Then I headed over to Dollar Tree for 2 things they didn’t have of course and finished at Sharp Shopper.  I got a round of Colby and a block of Swiss for Mark to take home after his visit next week.  On the way home I went by Wendy’s for salads since I knew I wouldn’t have time to make lunch before heading to work.  Bill was OK with the salad considering it was that or nothing.  I know he would have preferred a burger!

Work was slow since the weather wasn’t the greatest.  I took my RV mop with me and did the wood floor and it looks so much nicer.  Guess I’ll take it once a week.  I continually sweep the big hall but between the carpenter bees and the sand, it doesn’t last long swept.

There was a report of 4 bears in the park.  One is larger and they are considering removing it to another location.  That would be an awesome photo to post!

Restful evening watching TV and reading.  I’m getting in a lot of reading and that’s great!  I do get a bit fidgety as I don’t spend a lot of time sitting.  Guess I get that from my dad!
