No TV......

June 17 – We had a terrible storm last night.  We can’t get the Directv working but neither can our neighbor so we guess it’s the satellite out in space. It poured and stuff was banging on the roof all night.  I feel bad for the tent campers, as we get a lot of them here.  We also have what we think is a homeless family.  There are 6 children and 2 adults in one tent and they have a beat up car.  They paid their “rent” but once they don’t they will get booted.  We have instructions not to feed them or offer assistance as they will be recommended to agencies to help them.

We still didn’t hear from our lady so we managed with what we scraped up.  We don’t have a lot to sell anyway but at least we can make change for the soda machine.  My neighbors and I worked on that machine almost an hour today.  It doesn’t give the correct drink in reference to the button pushed.  So we tested every button and drink slot and moved some around and got it all squared away.  Now if the darn machine would take the bills and stop being finicky all would be well!  It was busier today than yesterday as more campers are checking in for the weekend.  I did the floors so they are all shiny for tomorrow but it won’t last long
