August 29 – Today’s temporary end point is Billings, MT. We had a nice drive through lowland hills. There were more golden hay fields and are so pretty and a nice change from the mountains of trees.
Along the way we saw 3 young
antelopes along the road. That made me
keep looking for more along the way but no, they were all of the “wild” life
for the day. We did see a large sheep
herd though.
In trying to get ready for our strange day tomorrow, we got out our big electric cooler. The cord would not work it in the RV or the truck so I took the fuse out and drove down to ACE is the Place where I got a package of the fuses and gave it another try. It worked perfectly in the RV on regular power and using the cord for the lighter type connection. The issue was it would not work in the truck!
We were trying to be ready tomorrow
to take fridge items out of the fridge and carry them with us in the truck
while the RV was getting an oil change and alignment. The process is supposed to take about 4 hours
based on our appointment times. OH well,
it will be what it will be! We did a
trial run to the shop so we wouldn’t get lost or be late!
