Keeping busy

July 2 – Once I got up and moving I went over to strip wallpaper at my mom’s house.  Kerry had the ceilings all textured and the painter is scheduled in a couple of weeks so she’s been painting the ceilings and asked me to take down that wallpaper.  It wasn’t too bad but since it was string cloth it wouldn’t come off in 1 layer.  Glad it wasn’t a big wall!  I had a bite of lunch then I weeded mom’s and my pineapple plants and weed whacked and made piles of tree branches.  I cut some limbs back over my landscape lights and whacked all along there so you can see the lights! 

Bill showered while I was out and then I did and we left to run a couple more errands before going to a matinee.  I didn’t bring but 2 pair of shorts and no capris and only had 3 pair here that fit so I stopped at Bealls and got 2 “neutral” pair that all of my tops will go with.  Then we stopped at Big Lots for a chair cover to use over the scooter.  Last stop before the theatre was ACE for a plastic repair kit to use on the scooter.

We went to see Independence Day and it was good but I missed Will Smith.  I also wanted to know what happened with the girl that Jeff Goldblum was with in the first one.  We had a delicious dinner at The Big Easy and stopped at Publix for some groceries and McDonald’s for an ice cream.  Jared stopped over for a bit and we settled in to watch a couple of shows.
