July 12 – Ok, this yard work duty is getting old, very old! After weeding a
section at the apartment and
using the weed eater I ventured into the fruit trees out front to weed eat in the
grove. I spotted a huge banana stalk
with quite a few bananas ready so whacked my way to it and managed to get it
down in one piece without injury. They
are very tasty little bananas. I took
off what was ready and will send some to work with Kerry to share with my
siblings and whoever else likes them.

I mostly did stuff around the house the rest of the day and baked a
blueberry crisp for one of the guys at work who took our old fifth wheel hitch
to an auction and sold it for us. He did
it as a favor so thought I’d do something to thank him. We will use that cash to continue working on
the kitchen floor project and then into the kitchen.
