August 9 – We didn’t work today
until 1 so I made a nice breakfast and we cleaned. Ugh!
Bill took all the rugs outside and shook them and then vacuumed them
while I did a thorough cleaning of the floor.
I did a load of laundry and more computer work while he did dishes. Before we knew it it was about time to head
to work. We ate a hasty lunch and off we
went until 5.
After work and cleaning up we
left for Willimantic. We had dinner at a
Mexican place and it was OK but doubt we will go back. Things were not prepared as we are used to
and they charged for the extra bowl of salsa.
We made a short stop at Wal-mart for a few things we were running low or
out of and Bill was to get a can of spray paint for a campground project he
started today. Wendy’s is beside
Wal-mart so we forced ourselves to stop for a Frosty. It was nice to just sit inside and leisurely
enjoy it.
Got home before dark and we
watched some of our shows on AMC that are starting back up for the rest of the
summer and tried to make some plans for tomorrow’s day off.
