Our new baby |
July 9 – Since we
are going to Great Falls
tomorrow I didn’t want to head out too far today. As we had breakfast the baby bunny was out
for a long time in addition to lots of birds.
We are seeing a pair of Cardinals more often.
I went out to work
on my decal removal while Bill went to do 2 loads of laundry. I bandaged up my knuckle since it’s pretty
raw and did more today than my first 2 days, but decided I really need a heat
gun instead of the small hairdryer. The
hotter the faster it would come off. I
took breaks to read and let my shoulder and the hairdryer rest and I did some
housework.
After we had lunch
and showered we headed into Hagerstown
to check on a Verizon location there. No
luck so I called them, which took forever and finally got someone to report the
phone to and gave our numbers to. Then
we went to Sam’s and Home Depot, where I got a heat gun, and Wal-Mart. We had a short list there so it didn’t take
long.
On the way home we topped
off the gas tank and I made chicken enchiladas for dinner. Bill was very happy since I haven’t made them
in a long time. We did our campground
sweep and met some new campers. The
sister of the found phone called and was going to get hold of her brother to
call us about the phone. Later his
mother called and was a little out of line asking us to take the phone to a
coffee shop in Shepherdstown or a gas station.
I tried to explain that the boy can call and we can make arrangements
for him to pick it up at Ferry Hill and she was just not getting it. Then she texted me that she will pick it up
between 10 and noon at Ferry Hill. Geez!
