Fun Sunday

August 19 - I made our normal Sunday breakfast but with sausage instead of bacon. Bill dropped me off and came back to clean our 14 sites. It was really slow in the office today, especially for the other girls. We told stories and had another laughter filled day. Brenda brought me a really nice mirror she and her son made from horseshoes. He did the welding and she painted it and had a mirror cut to fit it and attached it. That was so nice of her. She is really a nice person. All of the ladies are always in a good mood and so good with the guests.

 

Bill picked me up and we stopped at the Arboles Store for lunch. I had Frito Pie, which was really good and Bill had a grilled chicken sandwich. Then we made a quick trip to Ignacio to fill our water jugs and pick up some produce specials. Since I had been a good girl Bill treated me to a soft serve at the 7 2 11. I never get my fill.

 

Bill went out to clean our last 4 sites and I sat outside with Xena and read. It was nice out this afternoon, not hot at all. Newell stopped by for a while and after he left we went inside. Kam called and we skyped for about an hour. She carried her laptop around and showed me the inside of her house and also my new mattresses she is holding for me. We went over the mail that she will send this week.

 

I made 2 big pickle steaks for dinner and used a package of instant mashed potatoes to go with the gravy from the steaks and steamed zucchini. Later we had strawberry parfaits.

 

I caught up on email, made a graduation card, posted a blog and looked up a few things on line. Time to read or knit for a while.
