Slow day back on the job

June 27 – We don’t work until 4 today so slept in a while and after breakfast we did the floors and rugs and then Bill went out and vacuumed the car with our new vacuum.  So we are clean for a few days!

After lunch I drove up to the post office and arrived about 1:20 to find a sign on the door that they were closed from 1 – 2:30.  I brought some paperwork with me that I needed to make a couple of phone calls on but didn’t think they would take that long.  I drove up the hill and parked in the shade of a tree in the church parking lot where I managed to get another bar on my phone signal.  After making my “must do” calls I still had 30 minutes so called Karen.  It was great hearing her voice and having time to just catch up on her stuff and my stuff.  When it was time to go I stopped back at the post office and our mail pouch was in.  She tried to give me someone else’s mail but I took it back in, glad I looked before leaving.

I still had some time before work so I downloaded the rest of our recent trip photos, resized them and have them ready to load onto the site everyone can view them from. I packed our dinner since we would not be off until 9. 

It was not too busy.  Most of the campers had checked in by 4 but we had some stragglers.  There were kids up to play games and we sold a lot of firewood and ice.  Normal for Friday night.  Pretty uneventful.  After work we watched a bit of TV and read.
