June 17 – Yesterday I called an
Orchard I saw signs for strawberries and got the picking hours so after
breakfast this AM we went and picked 7 pounds of berries. Five were for us and 2 for Barb and Ron. It took about an hour to drive there and back
and pick our berries. As the summer
progresses they will have blueberries, peaches, apples and pumpkins. It’s really close so we will be doing more
picking and they have other veggies.
We worked 12:30 to 5:30
today. It was another nice day out. Not much went on and Barb and I found some
things to do and then we made some signs Steve wanted. I do the design and print and she does the
laminating. Bill was mowing again.
My back was still a mess and does
get better as the day goes on. I don’t
have any problem sleeping but just getting up and down.
