Finally got our work shirts

June 7 – We didn’t have to be at work until 1 today and only until 5.  We did our housework and some laundry.  I remembered to call the post office at 11:45 to see if our package came and it did and they closed at noon so I sent Bill out the door.  When he got back he said she told him he didn’t need to rush she would have waited a few minutes.  I was so happy to see my checkbook and papers I needed.  I took it with me to work so if I had some time I could at least enter all of my transactions and see if we had any money left.

Bill got off a few minutes before me so he headed home to shower so we could go out to dinner.  The plan was to go to Dayville first to Bed, Bath and Beyond and then to Putnam where they have some nice restaurants we wanted to try and then to the McDonald’s there to use the internet.  Well, we ended up doing it all in Dayville.  There was a 99 Restaurant and Barb had asked if we’d ever eaten at one and I had a coupon from the Sunday paper so we gave it a try.  It was OK, just a chain place very similar to other chains.  They give baskets of popcorn instead of peanuts.  We made our stop at McD’s and didn’t leave there until after 9 and it was so cold in there.  Next time we will keep a jacket in the car.

I did get several days of blogs caught up and paid bills and did some on line research.  Bill did email and facebook, so it was an OK evening.
