Crazy frogs on our RV |
June 6 - No
rain this morning but no real sun either.
I learned you cannot use a space heater in the bedroom and the toaster
oven in the kitchen and the Keurig all at the same time. It was good to know as I got to check out the
breaker panel and think now I know why the AC wasn’t blowing as it should in
the living area. It had flipped who
knows when so next time we need it will see if it’s back in action.
The sun did
come out and it’s going to be a really nice weekend. Campers came in most of the day. We didn’t report to work until 4 and Bill got
off just after 8 and I got off at 8:30 so not bad.
We had to go to
Home Depot AGAIN. This time to prepay to
have the step carpets bound. Then we
made a short stop at Aldi’s so I could make stuffed peppers for dinner. Last stop was the post office thinking our
package would be there but no, the lady says the driver scans the general
delivery and it doesn’t work right so he keeps them on his truck and will bring
it back later in the afternoon. We’ll
call in the morning to see if it made it.
I need to pay some bills and catch up the check book!
I made the
stuffed peppers and a meatloaf that I put in the freezer for next week. I thought the peppers would easy to take to
the Rec hall and heat in the microwave for dinner. Just some raw veggies with them. While they were in the oven (toaster oven,
still haven’t challenged the convection) we cut the leftover dash mat carpet
for the back of the SUV. That should it
keep it nice longer.

Work was pretty
busy being Friday night. We checked in
several campers, collected electric payments on some seasonals, sold ice,
firewood, ice cream and answered the phone.
Bill mowed most of his time and helped set up the tables and chairs for
BINGO tomorrow at 1. We go on duty then
so can’t play. Bill will have to help
break it all back down after Barb and I wash down the tables.
