Moving west!!

June 4 – On the road again today!  Left LaCrosse behind as we drove over the Mississippi River into Minnesota.  We had mapped 2 road choices, one mostly on the Interstate and one very direct but not Interstate.  I chose Interstate and it was great!  Bill kept wondering where the traffic was.  I guess no one was headed our way so traffic was very light and the one area that was work being done had one lane closed but no workers or equipment going on Saturday.  So it was a very pleasant drive instead of the harrowing things you experience on a crowded interstate!

The campground is just a one nighter in a tiny town with no grocery store.  They have a very nice park and there are 28 campsites with water and electric.  The park is nicely well maintained and there was a reservation slip on our site with info to pay in cash in an envelope and put it in the door slot.  Easy peasy! There are several units here with no one on site but there appears to be 3 families together and 6 kids.
