June 2 – Today our destination
was La Crosse, WI. Bill has a friend who
is here for the summer coaching college baseball and apparently La Crosse is a
big time baseball city. We were staying
just outside of town at Bluebird Campground.
We had a nice level spot right beside the recreation hall. It was full hook up and we had excellent WIFI
so maybe I can catch up on posting.
On the way there we spotted a
huge metal made turkey along the road and since I was driving Bill did his best
to get a photo of it.
Once we settled in Bill headed
to the ball field. He said he sat right
next to the dugout and could talk to his friend Rob. Rob had made arrangements for Bill to get a
pass for 2 nights. He really enjoyed the
game and got to see a former West Orange player as well.
While he was gone I did laundry and some cleaning in the RV. Not much went on today for sure!
