Relaxing Day!!

Captains Log June 5 – What a nice day!   We enjoyed a relaxing  morning  and did some laundry

and cleaned the floors.   After lunch we packed  our bags  with towels,  bathing suits, snacks and books and went into  town to the hotel that has the Sulphur spring pools.  There are 3 pools, one like a regular  swimming pool  but with  the hot springs  water, one has rounded corners, steps to walk  in  and seating  along most  of  the walls  and  there  are jets  in one  corner.   It was soooo relaxing and felt so good.  The 3^rd is just a big hot tub and it’s inside the building.

It was a nice sunny day for the most part.  The sky was beautiful most of our time.  Later some clouds would move over and put a chill on the air but I’d just get back in the pool.  We spent about 3 hours there, reading some while relaxing on the pool loungers.  It was perfect!

We timed the afternoon so we could go out to dinner after we left the pools.  Bill checked out the few places in town and we had dinner at Stockman Bar (and restaurant).  They have a pretty large menu  and Beef (it is beef country) is a big part of the menu.  I went with a Steak Salad and Bill went with country fried chicken.  It was a good meal in a very western setting!

Why it "Big Sky" country

We spend some time this evening planning a bit more of our summer.  We have about a month more to do since the Alaska Caravan tanked!
