Not too exciting today!

Captains Log June 3 - We were up earlier than normal and managed to be on the road before 9!  It was jump on I-94 west.  Our cool days are probably behind us now.  It was a rocking 87 today!  It was not a very exciting day.

We attempted to visit the Range Riders Museum in Miles City, MT.  Bill called ahead to ask if our RV would fit in their parking lot and they said the lot is huge.  Well, it was big but kinda long and narrow and with some cars already parked it was not an option.  So we headed into town towards the Wal-mart where we planned to stay the night after grocery shopping.  Well, at one corner there was a light over head that flashed that our RV was too tall to continue, to turn right.

Is this not strange?

We discovered it put up on the truck route and we found the Walmart, did our shopping and decided to get back on the road and drive a bit further.  Tomorrow is a much longer driving day so we ended up going about 240 miles today.

Bill found a 6 site place owned by a restaurant that’s next door.  There’s only 2 of us here tonight.  The owner said it’s a hit or miss for him.  Pretty level and full hook up  so we were good.

We did stop along the highway to see the Creepy Crawler Giant Baby.  She was with a Bison and a Rhinoceros.  It’s a rather strange roadside attraction!!

After some rest and relaxation we had chicken tacos for dinner.  Bill washed the front of the RV and did some other cleaning once it cooled down a little.  I hear it is going to be hotter tomorrow.
