Captains Log June 26 – Slow day! We had 11 sites to clean and did 3 on our first drive through. Didn’t take 30 minutes. On our 2nd run we did 6 and then one of the rangers asked Bill to drive our cart up to the maintenance building so they could take the key to get extras make.
Apparently on days off there have been keys taken home so no one could use the carts. They dropped Bill back off and never brought his cart back! So one of the other hosts cleaned our last 2 sites and Bill and I didn’t find out til she was done. He had to call one of the rangers about the cart and was told it was sitting in the lot wit the key in it! It would have been nice if we’d have known. So he and another guy brought it back so we are good to go in the morning.
We mostly fiddled with the satellite this afternoon. I spent an hour on the phone with DISH and then Bill spent an hour on the phone and then he left and I got the phone again for about 30 minutes. We are getting channels and local stations but of course, we aren’t getting a few channels that Bill wants, so tomorrow after work we might try moving it and see if that gets the rest of our channels.
