Kam joins us!

Captains Log June 10 – Still a rainy day and some cold to go with it!  We did a bit of cleaning this morning so it’s out of the way as once Kam arrives we will be on the go so cleaning will fall by the wayside!  Doesn’t bother me  .

After lunch and my shower I left about an hour before Kam’s flight and drove into Columbia Falls and went to the hardware store and the grocery store and then it was time to continue to the edge of Kalispell to Glacier International Airport to pick Kam up.  As I drove in I saw an American Airlines plane landing so figured it was her plane as it’s a VERY small airport.  Not knowing the layout of things I drove around once and saw where she should come out of the building and on my second round I went into the private planes area.  Ooops!  No one was around so I turned around and just parked on the road until she called me that she was on the ground.  It took about 10 minutes for her to get into the building and use the restroom and come out and I timed it perfectly – bare in mind that there was only one plane landing and not that many people picking folks up. 

Back at the RV we just visited and relaxed and discussed places for dinner.  On the way out we stopped at the huckleberry place Bill and I had lunch yesterday and the other place so Kam could look at the goodies,  We agreed on dinner in Columbia Falls as there were more and nicer places, there to Three Forks Grill and it was awesome!  We shared an appetizer of pork belly and Kam tried a new beer and I went with wine and Bill had a cola.  Bill had a steak and salad, Kam had another kind of appetizer and I had a Steak Salad.  We didn’t leave a crumb and we were all full.  

I had postcards to post so we drove thru the drop off and town to the end of the main street so Bill could see where I’d been today.  On the way back to the RV we planned to stop at the second huckleberry place but it looked closed so we went back to the bigger one and they had pie and I had a hand pie.  I had mine heated and the crust was not nearly as thick as the pie and it was very good.  We were definitely full for the day! 

Molly was happy to see us and we all settled into a spot.  Bill and Kam are reading and I will be also once I complete today’s post!
