June 9 – We only had 200 miles to
go today to Dover , OH where my dad is from. Well it was a really long 200 miles. The turnpike was packed in addition to road
work every few miles. Lots of trucks and
no one abiding by the 55 MPH signs frequently posted. I changed lanes soooo many times.
After 3 hours we changed to I-77
where we got off to fill the RV and have a bite of food. My back was so ready to move around and stretch
out a bit!
It was only a short drive into Dover . We camp at the county fair grounds and were
the only one there so we got, we think, the only 50 amp site with water and
sewer for $20 a night. We’re in the
heart of town and there a horse track right beside us. We get to watch the trainers run the horses
in the sulky at all times of the day.
I was really beat today. I made dinner and that was it for the day!
