Absolutely do nothing day!

June 27 – We planned today for just what it was, a day of rest!  Bill did walk about and take the trash to the dumpster during a break from sitting out and reading.  Then the rain started and rained until around 5.  I felt bad for the families with children who were so enjoying their bikes, friends, and the playground.  And then there were the poor folks who had to walk their dogs in it.

Not much traffic in our loop, one RV left and another took its place and one passed by and went somewhere behind us.  It cooled off a lot and the AC hasn’t had to work much at all. 

I made a raspberry jello pie for tonight to go with Bill’s favorite (yeah right) fish, mixed rice and zucchini.  At least he will like the pie!

Had a nice conversation with my sister this afternoon!  Very hot and muggy there and rain needed!  I guess we will take the rain over the heat!!
