Working at home

July 8 – This was a workday at the RV once we had our waffles.  We had stacks of stuff to be pitched or put under the RV.  I baked a tiny pan of brownies, made a batch of quinoa salad and we got a radio call to see if we could clean the floors of the men’s restroom.  The other couple was off today and we said it was no problem.  While there we checked the TP and wiped down the counters.  Didn’t take but 30 minutes.

I cleaned out my junk drawer, repaired a drawer, organized my tool box, and Bill was doing similar tasks outside. Then he sat out reading for a while and went for a bike ride.  Later I started with a glass of tea and then one of wine while I read outside.  The weather was great today.

I planned to get on the computer earlier and post, pay bills, etc but didn’t get around to that until 9:00.  I tried a new recipe for dinner in my Copper Chef pan.  It was chicken with mixed rice with sliced lemon and Badia seasoning.  It was delicious, but the chicken seemed a little dry.  Next time I’ll push the chicken down in the rice and not on top like it said.  Bill didn’t think the green beans were cooked long enough.  I prefer el dente and he likes mush!  Then we had a brownie.

Time to read a bit before bedtime!
