Cleaning and Picking

Captains Log July 19 – The campground was totally empty for about an hour!  We finished  cleaning most of the sites then Bill went back out and did the last 3 once they left.  It wasn’t long before we started seeing the 29 new campers arriving, so the cycle begins again!

I went back to the berry patch for a while and picked 1 ½ pounds just for eating.  I’ll give it a couple of days before I go back for more for the freezer!  They don’t look like they will be gone anytime soon!

Nothing much else exciting today!  We had a short visit from Cayden, one of the campground employees that was here our first few weeks.  He was on his way to go fishing and took the time to stop by on his way just to say hello.  We asked about him a week ago as we had the feeling he’d been let go and he was.  He’s got a better opportunity at UPS, so we hope it goes well for him.

I worked on some crafting today which I haven’t done since we got here.  Now that we have our satellite working I will craft while watching TV.
