And 2 couples hit the road

October 10 – Bad news this morning, lift off was cancelled!  The gang gathered in Jean and
Paul and Jean's RV as they head out
Paul’s RV and had a last few laughs and then the hugs and well wishes for Larry and Clarissa and Jean and Paul who were heading out this morning.  Larry and Clarissa left about 8:30 and Jean and Paul had to air up a tire and were out just after 9.  Bye guys!  Looking forward to seeing you all down the road!
😢😢

We’ve such a great time with our friends it’s always sad to say good bye.

Once we had breakfast and got dressed we left with Sharon and Bruce for a used bookstore Bill found that was supposed to be really good.  With morning traffic it took a while to get there and it was a really nice organized store.  He knew right where everything was and the selection was awesome.  It took Bill a while to get what he wanted and I picked out only one book today.

From there we went to Frontier for lunch.  We were there 2 years ago and it was packed and we beat the real lunch crowd today so it was much easier to get a seat.  There are several cashiers across the front where you place your order, pay and get your number.  Sharon and Bruce held our booth while we ordered and then we took over.  Bruce and I had taco salad, Bill had a taco and a burrito and Sharon went with an all day breakfast of eggs, bacon, pancake and hash browns.  It was a BIG breakfast but she gave Bruce the hash browns!

They had errands to do in the afternoon so we dropped them off at the arena and we went to World Market and Wal-mart.  I didn’t get anything at World Market as this one does not have a 55% off area!  Bummer!  Wal-mart did not have what I was looking for so I picked up eggs and a bit of produce and that was it!  I did get 6 more bottles of Blue Teal wine at Total Wines to take home.  It was Bill’s idea!  What a great guy!

Fireworks video
I got to working on my photos and journal while Bill read.  It was getting cooler out so not a lot of sitting out this afternoon.  I put some things away to get ready for our exit and worked a little on my journal.  Not making much headway today.  Once
Not too bad of a photo
dinner time rolled around I made Teriyaki chicken with rice and broccoli.  Made enough for 2 meals, one on the road!

Bruce told us there were fireworks at 7:30 so we sat out in the wind and cold and watched.  Pretty impressive!  Then they came over and all had a huckleberry ice cream sandwich and visited for our last evening.  Tomorrow is going to be very sad!
