Peaceful day

August 15 -   I got up at 7:45 and didn’t even notice Bill was not in bed.  Because he doesn’t sleep well I try to gingerly leave the bed and room as not to disturb him.  I took my pills, had my coffee and was going to put an app on his phone for when I go to Ireland and can text with him and could not find his phone.  That’s when I noticed he left me a note on the table that he went for a bike ride at 7:15!  That was a surprise!  He actually walked in just a couple minutes after I saw it and had ridden to Meijers and brought home donuts for breakfast!  I cooked one of the packages of sausage I got yesterday and put out some cold sweet cantaloupe and we feasted!  What a way to start the day!

Then it was time to buckle down!  Bill went out to clean and polish one of the RV wheels and I cleaned and mopped the much neglected floors and did 2 loads of laundry.  We’re working towards boxing things up to make it easier for the trip home and unpacking when we get there. 

After lunch Bill took the truck to the half price car wash, went to Staples for ink for my printer and then to get wipers for the truck.   I was beginning to think he forgot where he left me!

We settled into our afternoon iced coffees and I wrote some blog and organized some photos to try and get posted this evening.  Tomorrow we go back to work and since I’ve been so sedentary the last 1 ½ weeks, I’m sure it will be a shock to my system.
