Rainy day!

September 8 – It started raining very early and the report was it was going to rain all day!  Not good.

I made red velvet pancakes for Bill this morning and I had fried grits.  (mine was better).  Bill wasn’t feeling good (no not because of the pancakes), so he went back to bed.  By the time he got up and showered we didn’t leave for Burley until about noon.  It was nasty out still but the weather was better in Burley.  I went to Dollar Tree and Bealls and it is going out of business so I got a good deal on 2 nice tops.

We stopped at Wendy’s for lunch and that was nice!  Of course I had an Apple Pecan salad and convinced  Bill to have a salad also but he went with Buffalo Chicken.  No Frosties!!

I had a long list for Wal-mart since it’s been almost 2 weeks since we grocery shopped last.  After Wal-mart I wanted to go to Smiths, which is a very nice grocery.  I got some produce and meat there.

Time to head back.  The skies didn’t look took good and I was sure we were in for a

NIce pull thru site!

downpour along the way, but it didn’t happen.  The campground is pretty empty tonight but in our area there are 4-5 close by so I don’t feel like we’re alone!

Everything was put away and eventually I made our salads and heated up the leftover pizza!  It was just as good as it was last night!  Guess tomorrow I will have to cook!
