Great day in Bullhead City

September 25 – No rush to get going today!  Once we had breakfast Bill went out and cleaned the RV front window and vacuumed out his truck, while I did a load of laundry and mopped our floors.  We called Barry and asked him to meet us at 12:30 at Wild Roadrunner.

We had some time before meeting so we stopped at Walmart for a few things.   

Barry loved his meal and said he’d be going back and it’s close to his place!  I had a

delicious pastrami sandwich and salad and it was great as well.  Bill loved his hamburger, so I guess we picked a good spot!  We visited long after lunch then we finally had to go get going.

After lunch we went to Goodwill, CVS and got our flu shots, Culver’s for dessert, the car wash to make Bill happy and then Safeway for a few things.  Once we got the groceries put away we went to the Avi Casino.  Bill sat with me to play the GIANT Wheel of Fortune and after just a few spins I got to spin the big wheel and got $20.  Then he went to the lobby and read his book while I played more and I got to spin twice more and won $32 and $22.  Then I switched to some regular slot games and put in more than I got back, then I moved to the poker machines.  By the time I found Bill and cashed in I ended up a whopping $33 ahead!  I do love playing and could sit for hours, actually in the old days I would sit for hours.  Actually the first time we were in Vegas I didn’t get back to the hotel room until 2 AM and we had a flight the next morning!  The machines are all different now and most I can’t even figure them out!

I scrounged up some dinner and emptied out a few things and we watched a new show on TV while I caught up on my journal.  Maybe tomorrow night I will get them all posted!  Tomorrow we leave for Tucson!
