June 19 - Trip to the Flea Market

Park Armadilla, it was getting dark out
June 19 – No water again when we got up, but after the storm again last night it wasn’t a surprise. It came back on shortly so all was well. We had planned to get up earlier to go to the flea market but we were both bushed and slept in a while before having breakfast and heading to the flea market. It was Keller’s over near I-95. It was pretty large but rather sprawling. Quite a lot of empty booths but nothing we haven’t seen at flea markets before. I got a couple pair of cheap sunglasses, a case for my phone and some good buys on produce and Bill got some shea butter. He was about out so it was good timing.

On the way back we stopped at Wal-mart for a few things. After lunch we had our housework to do. Bill cleaned the grill, put water in the fresh water tank and cleaned up outside from last night’s storm. I changed the bed, did 3 loads of wash and defrosted the fridge so maybe it will work more efficiently. I baked a small peach pie with fresh Georgia peaches. For dinner I made a Cornish game hen, rutabaga and wild rice pilaf. Bill took all our fridge and freezer items over to the shared fridge so I had to make do with what I had. Luckily I had some butter in the mini fridge so we had a good dinner and dessert. After cleaning up we took Xena for a walk and to put our cardboard in the recycle trailer. They have 6 recycle containers on a trailer by the maintenance shop so when we walk Xena we take our stuff up there and put it in. Cuts way down on the garbage.

We didn’t feel like a bike ride but I did ride over to the fridge and get what we need for breakfast and put it in the mini fridge.  I made some popcorn that we shared along with our little dab of ice for our sodas and we watched a new show on TV and another one of Bill’s shows.  Mine are all in reruns.
