Rocky Raccoon in the window |
The tree |
Bill wanted a big breakfast when we got back but he settled for a ham/egg/cheese sandwich on a deli thin and a bowl of fruit. Bill took his raccoon shield down and marked the board to have it cut and put a piece on the inside of the ladder. I worked on resizing photos for my blog. We showered and headed into Savannah to take Dell in for service. We asked about a place for lunch and Spanky’s near the mall was suggested. It was packed but we were only 2nd in line for a seat. It has lots of seafood and plenty of other choices. I opted for an appetizer of mini crab cakes and a small salad. It was pretty good. Another place we’d go back too.
Since it was near the mall, we stopped to go to Bath and Body Works for Bill’s lotion. He was able to get some help also on his new phone at the ATT kiosk. Then we stopped by the Super Wal-Mart before heading back to our island. The plan was to go to the post office and library on Tybee but Bill had said he wanted to go home so it worked out to take him and the produce home. Then I went to the post office but it closed at 4:30 and I didn’t make it til 4:45. I mailed what I had postage on and headed on to the library, which didn’t close until 8 so I had plenty of time. I managed to post 6 blogs, do some email, print some things and found 5 books for Bill and I.
