June 4 – Our last day in Darien!  There was a lot to do before leaving tomorrow.  On our way to town we saw our co-hosts at the dump station so we stopped to say good bye one more time.  They will get to Florida in mid-December so we plan to get together for a meal at some point in time.  Then Bill saw them again at the McDonald’s.

We did all the laundry, washed the truck, went to the post office, drug store and grocery store.  Bill took the truck to the Indian reservation and filled it up.  I hung the new magnetic board for Bill’s magnets he collects and he put the new closet door catch on.  I vacuumed the RV and we greased the hitch and put the bike rack on the truck and the bikes.  We checked on the mail package from Kam but it hasn’t arrived.  I called the post office and they said I could call in the morning around 8:30 and she might have the mail all sorted by then.  I sure hope it makes so we don’t have to have it sent back to Florida.  This is too far out of the way to come back for it when we leave Canada.

We just had leftovers and relaxed some before taking a last loop walk.  I’ve put a lot of stuff away and made a batch of chia flax crackers so I don’t have to while we’re in Canada.  We should be on the go every day there.  I made my last trip to the bathhouse and had my shower.  The drive isn’t far tomorrow but we don’t know how long it will take at the border and stopping at the duty free store to get alcohol for Bill’s cousin.  We plan to arrive by 2:00.
