October
7 – We got moving a littler earlier today to check out a possible flea market
in the next Pueblo north of us and for Bill to pick up a prescription at the
Wal-mart up there. The flea market was a
bust! He did get his prescription and I
returned the first set of dishes we bought since they didn’t have lunch plates,
just dessert plates. Then we turned
around and headed south to Santa Fe .

They
have a HUGE Farmer’s Market and Artisan Mall every Saturday! There was NO parking and Bill ended up dropping
me off and after circling 4 times he gave up and went to a gas station and
parked and waited for me. The fruits and
vegetables were all organic and super expensive. They had lots of interesting foods, heirloom
vegetables, small batch cheeses, yogurts, baked goods. And People!
I didn’t really buy much, but I enjoyed looking.
Bill
circled back one last time to get me and we stopped for lunch at Panda
Express. I was ready for something other
than Mexican. Then we got to the local
flea market in time to check out most of the booths.
They do have a lot more booths on Saturday but we
didn’t buy anything.

We
did part of our Monday cleaning this afternoon since we’re picking Kam up
tomorrow and will be busy playing tourist for the next few days. I caught up my ironing and Bill put things
away and re-organized stuff for our departure tomorrow. Bill emptied the tanks tonight so there’s
less to do in the morning.
We
cleared out some of the leftovers for dinner and watched a sappy love story on
Hallmark!
