Slow boring day!

August 8 – Morning came much too soon today!  It was an ugly rainy day and stayed that way all day.  Bill was in and out doing what he could between the worst of the showers.  It was a typical day when it was all or nothing!  Once I got things set up and ready it was a slow phone day until I was busy checking in guests.  I had my washers done by 6 and dryers by 6:30 and Bill swept the floor.  I did a major cleaning job on the popcorn machine.  I used the last of the popcorn butter so not sure it they’ll be popping tomorrow.  I locked the door at 7:01 and balanced with no problems but when I went to put a new roll or register tape in I struggled.  The first time I did it I had not problem but I tried twice and had to ask Becky to come out and get me back on track!  I was out the door at 7:30, the earliest so far!
