May 21 – This morning was more laundry, sweeping and mopping the floors and then showering and getting ready to go meet for lunch in Bowling Green. We left early enough to drive around the campus so Bill could see what has changed and a stop at the baseball field. He was able to walk onto the baseball field and pretty disappointed at the condition of it.
Lunch was both delicious and
Bill’s friend was such a nice guy and his wife was very nice as well. The guys talked about so many people they
grew up with and stories and Bill shared about his life and Dudley shared about
his life. Bill has wanted to get with
him for years and was so excited and happy to get to see him again.
We didn’t leave the restaurant
until about 4 and made a Wal-mart stop for a short list and then headed
home. I had told him we were having the
hot dogs he bought and he was happy to hear than. I gilled them on George and had bought buns
and cooked 2 big ears of corn. Filling
and easy meal and Bill was very happy! I’m
not a hot dog person so with mustard and relish I managed and the corn was very
tasty!
I have another load of laundry
in the dryer so I’m done for the day!
