2 days left

September 1 – TWO, count them, TWO more days!

We woke to an overcast, rain guaranteed day!  Ugh!  I made us each an egg to go with our scone and fresh fruit this morning.  We headed out for the first round of cleaning and when we got back Jean called and asked us to do trash as she can’t reach the young guy whose job it is.  I told her we picked up what we saw but would head back out and do another sweep.  We barely made it back and the sky literally opened up.  What a rain! 

As it was slowing down, our RV guy called to say he was on his way out to put the part on the toilet.  When we didn’t hear from him yesterday I was sure he’d call since I owe him for the shade.   Toilet took him 5 minutes to switch out the parts and then he did the paper work.  I paid what we think I owe once the warranty claim gets paid.  They are giving him a hard time so I will call them on Tuesday and see if I can’t get the ball rolling so I don’t get stuck for the bill.

The rain cleared and the sun finally came out around 5.  I put a pork loin in the crockpot this morning so dinner would be easy.  We had bbq sandwiches and broccoli slaw and fresh tomatoes.  Quick and easy!

We kept busy all day!  The sand is all over and with so many people the bathrooms are a mess.  Seems we sweep and vacuum pounds of sand.  Plus the sand is in the showers and we have to sweep it out from there also.

We were tired puppies tonight.  Bill did pass lane til 10 and I made my last round of bathrooms just before picking him up to come home.
