The smallest clock I could find |
May 31 - Since we didn’t have to be at work until 5
today, we did some “house” work. I hung
my new clock and my little wine rack that holds 3

glasses. Bill cut the rug we bought into the sizes of
our steps so we can have them bound when we go to Home Depot. Gradually we’re getting things as much as we
can the way we want them. I took the phone
booster system out and read the book and it may be a bit more complicated that
I thought but it was too chilly out to get on the roof and check out the signal
today.
We were supposed to work til 9
but since everyone had checked in and things slowed down we got to leave just
after 8. I work with Barb until she
leaves after July 4 and we get along very well.
She and her husband live in Venice,
FL but are from around this
area. We had some rowdy kids to deal
with who came in to play the game machines and pass the time. I think Bill was out mowing grass and raking
out some topsoil

they had delivered. We
had packed our dinner and took a break to eat.
I had my leftovers from last night and I made Bill a huge chicken
sandwich with a grilled chicken breast that was leftover. We sat in the lobby in front of the big stone
fireplace and had our dinner.
With nothing but reruns on there
hasn’t been much of interest on TV so after trying to get on the internet and
it was a bust, I read and Bill had already been reading.
