The plan was to be on the road at 8, but true to form, it was 8:30. It took an hour to load the last items, unhook the electric, remove the wheel covers, air up 2 of the RV tires and get on the road. The day was rather uneventful. We stopped once for fuel, twice to get PB2 and arrived at Twin Oaks RV Park in Elko, GA around 3. It was right off the interstate and was a pretty nice park. As we were pulling in, Bill went to get out his wallet in case he needed ID to check in and realized he didn’t bring it. Oops! I told him I’d call Kerry to Priority Mail it to Cherokee since we’d be there a week. Once we got all set up and Bill wanted to give Xena and Molly their flea meds. I know I made sure we had all the necessary meds from the vet for the time we would be gone and put them in the RV. I hunted all over and couldn’t find them. So I told Kerry to send the meds left at home with Bill’s wallet. I think we’re becoming mentally deficient.
We walked Xena a couple of times and chatted with various neighbors. I made roast beef with gravy over baked potatoes and zucchini for dinner. We both showered in the bathhouse since I have my herb garden and tomato plant in the shower and it’s a pain to move them for one night. It wasn’t really such a long day but tiring so Bill was in bed by 10 and I did some blogging until 11. Well I tried to do some. My computer kept shutting down like it was overheating, so I finally gave up on Dell and went to Toshiba since we had WIFI. If it keeps it up we will check on a place to have it looked at in Cherokee. Not good!!!
