Karen the Javalina Rider |
It started as a lazy morning. We took our time getting up and Carole made Canadian bacon and eggs for breakfast with fruit. Then we eventually got ready to head out to the museum. It's about an hour from Carole's house. We spent several hours on the self guided tour of the museum. We enjoyed what animals we could see and the aquarium was pretty neat. Those sand eels were creepy the way they go up and down in the sand. We learned new things about cactus and got to see

Bat Woman |
a hummingbird nest. Karen became Bat Woman and will never be the same. There was a cave with stalactites and stalagmites and lots of info about the formation of various rock formations. It was really an enjoyable day.
On the way home we stopped at Fry's for rotisserie chicken, fruit and Caesar salad mix to make for dinner. It was about 4 when we got home. We visited with Carole and Herb, I worked on photos, Karen and Jean did email and we all just relaxed until dinner time. Jean and I put the Chicken Caesar Salad together and Karen cleaned up the dishes. We had pie for dessert and everyone was stuffed. We watched some TV and headed to bed for our last day of touristing with Jean.
